Personal Training in Boston

Whatever your fitness goals, a Personal Trainer can help. All BHAC trainers are health and fitness professionals with the expertise, educational background and certification to design a specifically tailored exercise program for you. With a trainer's one-to-one attention and guidance, you will learn how to make your workouts more efficient, fun and effective.

Both our Certified Personal Trainers and Master Trainers offer single sessions and packages of 10, in hour or half-hour formats. Please feel free to contact your local branch to learn more about pricing and to set up an appointment.

Personal Trainer
A Personal Trainer has the required education and skills to design a fitness program that includes resistance, flexibility and cardiovascular training based on an individual's needs and goals.

Master Trainer
In addition to the above skills, a Master Trainer has specialized training in any of the following areas: injury prevention, pre- and post-natal fitness, sport-specific training, and regimens for specific health conditions

“I first met Eric when I walked into BHAC.  He had a big smiling face but a no nonsense image about him.   As a personal trainer myself, I knew that I wanted someone experienced and someone that wouldn’t put up with any excuses…any!  I had a goal of competing for Miss Massachusetts USA and knew that I had a long way to go.  I wasn’t going to get there myself. 

Eric laid out the ground rules: train hard, eat well, and keep your sights on your goal.  He wouldn’t accept anything less since I wanted nothing less.  Eric was my voice of reason when I didn’t think I could or wanted to skip one day.  I can remember some mornings not wanting to wake up and do cardio. Truth be told, if I didn’t do my cardio in the morning, I wasn’t going to do it at all.  Eric challenged me to keep a journal, wear a heart monitor, and change up my walking routes so that I could stay encouraged. 

Those few  things helped, but it was Eric’s ever changing, ever challenging workouts that got my body into the best shape of my life.  One day we would work hard on muscle training.  The next workout would consist of endurance training by means of running stairs and jumping over boxes.  My body tired, but my mind and muscles were stimulated.

Eric went the distance with me as he does with all of his clients.  He saw me through my hard times and even saw me compete at the pageant.  Eric is not just a trainer.  He is a mentor, a teacher, a challenger, and supporter.  Trainers are easy to come by, but a trainer like Eric is priceless.”
